The 48-Hour Emergency That Taught Me About GE Appliance Repairs, a Smart Maytag Washer, and Chest Freezer Frost

Last May, at 11:42 PM, I got a text from a client who runs a nine-room bed-and-breakfast upstate. The Washer That Wasn't Really Broken

I'd love to say I learned all of this from a manual. I really didn't. I only learned to respect model numbers after ignoring them once and ordering a part that didn't fit.
